In a time when everyone is talking about platforms, apps and algorithms, m:tel wanted to remind people that the real experience of watching television is more than just the image on the screen. That TV is still the central place where we gather, laugh, discuss and reconcile. The focus of the campaign was the idea that with m:tel IPTV we not only get top-notch service but also the opportunity to create memorable moments.
That is why we created a couple that is not just acting but is lively, authentic and everyday. Our perfect couple became Slobodan Perišić and Smiljana Marinković – talented Banja Luka actors who found the perfect balance between humor and emotions. Their living room with a red couch became a stage for everyday struggles, compromises and small joys that we all recognize, and m:tel IPTV was always there with them to connect, cheer up and reconcile.
The campaign was developed as a series of spots (in the manner of a sitcom) that dealt with different topics throughout the year (big sporting events, favorite series, family gatherings and time for yourself). Each spot brings a scene from life, with a carefully chosen rhythm and punchline, but also a sales message that accompanies them. In addition to TV, the campaign also lived on digital, print and (D)OOH channels, and this visual and narrative continuity made our perfect couple a perfectly positive association with m:tel IPTV.
The audience recognized themselves. The campaign caused comments and smiles. On social networks, the scenes from the spots began to live their own lives. Along with awareness, the number of requests for additional content and devices grew. The campaign showed that the formula is simple: one perfect couple, good and funny content, real emotions and a red couch.
