Koža

A delicate, three-course production menu, with “KOŽA” (Skin) as the dessert.

The challenge and satisfaction best describe our years-long work on the Banja Luka trilogy “Kosti”, “Meso”, “KOŽA“ (Meat, Bones, and Skin).

Thus, Nikola Pejaković Kolja’s foresight into the future at the very beginning of working on this artistic wrestling with darkness both within and around us came to fruition, serving the audience “Meso” as the appetizer and “Kosti” as the main course. In the end, we left everyone to save their own skin (KOŽA).

The struggle with the guilt of the main character, Slobodan Milošević, and his complex issue of returning to his native Banja Luka was yet another challenge for the “Bosonoga” production, which would prove once again that it’s an authentic creative center. And with “KOŽA”, the challenge was to, in a way, bring Banja Luka back home, to itself, where it belongs.

A Balkan noir fairy tale would be a simplified description of this ten-part series about forgiving oneself and others. When we scratch beneath the skin, we realize that the acting ensemble led by Pejaković (who is also the series’ writer), Aleksandar Jovanović, Nebojša Dugalić, Sanja Vejnović, Vesna Trivalić, Slobodan Ninković, Aleksandar Stojković, Ljubomir Bandović, Nataša Ninković… brought a story about salvation, which is impossible without suffering.

The success of “Skin” is counted in millions. Of viewers. And excellent reactions, not just from the industry, but the entire region.

A big production “bite” and as such, a challenge for our Creative studio, that comes with an inherent award-worthy expectation, due to the success of the previous parts of the trilogy.

We’ll see if there’s room for another dessert.
