Kuvo TV was launched in the fall of 2020 in three regional countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Montenegro. Kuvo TV became the first thematic gaming channel in the ex-Yu region, covering all aspects of the video game world – from organizing and broadcasting attractive tournaments to author shows on mainstream games, thematic content for the youngest, or specialized formats for nostalgia.

To announce our new project to the world, we created the campaign “A New Player on the Map”. This way, all interested parties learned that a new, unique player had appeared on the media map of the region. The television’s name itself is a lexical-semantic play, originating from gamer slang for playing games (“kuvanje” means “cooking”, so “Kuvo” was derived).

The campaign consisted of two main groups of solutions. The first group included three short video spots, intended for promotion via YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. The second group of solutions involved visuals or short animations derived from the video spots, aimed at additional promotion on social media and through various OOH surfaces (billboards, city lights, LED displays).

Given that this segment of promotion was primarily aimed at the general public, it retained the key visual elements and most important messages from the video spots. These solutions were supplemented with additional information about the availability of the Kuvo TV channel in local cable networks.
