Novo ime

For a client involved in a sensitive industry, we were tasked with designing a socially conscious project that would be “heard around the world”, so to say.

This was succinctly encapsulated in the project “Novo ime” (New Name), a classic PR move for the company Novomatic – specifically Novo RS, as its branch in the territory of the Republic of Srpska. It was our way of showing that opportunities and new values are not worlds away but right here – in our neighborhoods.

We launched an online platform where, from cycle to cycle, on a monthly basis, young people could apply, showcase their talent or skills in culture, art, or sports, and gain the favor of the audience to become the “Novo Ime”. They would then get the chance to enhance that talent or skill through our advisory and financial support from Novo RS.

During 2018, we enhanced the creative work or sports achievements of 10 young talents, and subsequently three more, recognizing their potential and providing them support on their journey to realizing their dreams.

The project “Novo Ime” also made a significant impact when it was later launched in Serbia and North Macedonia. Throughout the challenging year of 2020, we received dozens of applications from young people from various fields every month, enjoyed both the public support, via the voting process, and the support from media.

We visited each “Novo Ime” and recorded a winning video. Miles of road and videotape, emails, calls, texts, social media posts… It was worth every smile of all those young people we made happy.
